What runs on a VioX OS instance.
Nine agents with real job descriptions. A voice war room. Memory that survives the session. An encrypted vault. Scheduled work that runs while you sleep. Project teams. All on a single VPS, and every handoff to another shop’s instance is signed. Pilot is $497/mo plus a one-time $997 setup →
A team that runs your agency.
Nine agents, twenty-six hats. Each one wears the hats a person in that seat would wear. Specialty packs add what your business actually is: agency delivery, healthcare intake, real-estate coordination, mortgage origination.

Closer hands off to Voice by mentioning @voice; Voice pings Steward for a customer quote. Every handoff is a tracked work item with a status, not a hope.
A platform, not a chat app.
The agents are the interface. Underneath is what makes them stick: memory that persists across sessions, schedules that wake them unattended, and federation that lets your operators talk to each other’s agents. Inspect a signed envelope on the protocol page →
Voice war room
Mic-in, mic-out with your agents. Gemini transcribes, the routed agent answers over the gateway, a multi-provider TTS cascade speaks the reply. The optional sidecar adds streaming Deepgram STT or Gemini Live speech-to-speech. Daily.co rooms are provisioned for shared human calls; agents do not join those rooms yet.
Scheduled autonomy
Cron-driven heartbeats wake agents unattended and log every run to Mission Control. Scheduled reports ship agent output to Slack, Telegram, email or a webhook.
Encrypted vault
API keys stored at rest in AES-256-GCM, decrypted only on an explicit, audit-logged reveal.
Layered memory
Recent, semantic, project and archive layers, plus team memory shared across federated instances. Gemini embeddings, sqlite-vec search. Your Obsidian vault is watched and re-indexed on every save.
Multi-human team mode
Email and password sign-in. Admins add teammates and assign roles. Agents, memory and chat history are shared across the team.
Multi-channel
Telegram, Slack and iMessage (Mac-hosted) inbound, through one handler to the bound agent or the router. Email and webhooks are outbound delivery targets.
Project teams
Per-project rosters. Closer, Voice and Steward join a project; the rest stay out of context.
Self-host or managed
One-command VPS install: Caddy with auto-issued TLS, hardened systemd units, and a viox backup command for encrypted archives to disk, S3 or R2.
Local by default. Cloud only where you choose it.
Here is exactly what leaves your machine, and what has to be switched on first.
- Stays on your disk
- Chats, memory, plans, the vault, chat history, your Ed25519 keypair. SQLite, generated and kept on your machine. No SaaS memory store, no per-token fees from us.
- Leaves only with a key you bring
- Text to Gemini for embeddings and audio to Gemini for transcription, if you set a Gemini key; without it, memory search is keyword-only. A Daily.co room for shared voice calls, if you set that key. Backups to S3 or R2, only when you run the backup command.
- Always leaves
- Prompts to Anthropic through the Claude Max subscription you hold, under Anthropic’s terms. Federation envelopes go straight to the teammate instance you address, signed, never through us.
The gateway is about 26,000 lines of TypeScript under the MIT license. Federation identity is an Ed25519 keypair stored in your instance’s database, protected by the same disk permissions as the rest of your data; the VPS install runs it as a locked-down systemd service. What the protocol defends and what it does not → The protocol layer is open source on GitHub; the full platform is source-available on request.
Three ways to run it.
We charge for the platform. Your Claude Max subscription does the inference, so there is no per-token bill from us.

What you pay, in full: $497/mo to VioX on the Pilot, plus a Claude Max subscription (from $100/mo, billed by Anthropic), which does the inference. About $600/mo all-in. Managed hosting is included, so there is no server bill from us; if you self-host, a $25/mo box is plenty. The optional Gemini and Daily.co keys start on their free tiers. The $997 setup fee is charged once.
What it replaces, for a small agency: $99/mo Lindy + $500/mo Make + $99/mo Zapier AI, about $700/mo, plus the $1,500 to $3,000/mo in per-token API fees those stacks accrue once usage grows. Roughly $2,400/mo saved at typical volume, before counting the seats you no longer hire.
